Penn State Public Broadcasting received funding from the Pennsylvania Public Television Network (PPTN) to produce a documentary called, "Water: An Endangered Resource." The documentary highlights both the beauty and the pollution of some of Pennsylvania's 83,000 miles of streams and lakes. PPTN also sponsored the development of educational materials based on the documentary. All materials contain a segment from the documentary and are aligned with Pennsylvania's academic standards for the Environment and Ecology.
